Biography
I was born on 17 January 1973 in Rome, Italy. Master's Degree in Nursing in ‘Catholic University of Sacred Heart A. Gemelli’ of Rome (1995), Management for Director Functions in ‘Tor Vergata’ University of Rome (2008), Master's Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences (2016) and Master 1st Level Wound Care (2013) in ‘La Sapienza’ University of Rome and I am currently attending the second level master's degree in risk management and management of large healthcare companies in ‘ LUM J. Monet’ University of Milan. University Professor and 25 publications. I’m an Head Nurse in a ward of Internal Medicine and the wound care specialist of the St. Giovanni Addolorata Hospital of Rome, Italy. I am a member of many scientific societies ( AISLEC, AIUC, EWMA, WHUWS, SIFCS, SIMCRI ), I have won three national awards in my Country : Best poster on the role of npwt in no-healing wounds(2017), 1° Prize ‘Workshop Research Innovation & Transmission’(2018), Italian Professional Excellence Award - Senate of the Republic 2019.
Research Area
The Oxygen Wound Therapy system has proved effective and indispensable for the healing of chronic wounds, for complex wounds, for slow or difficult healing and the possibility of using it under compression therapy and NPWT has facilitated, accelerated and guaranteed the healing processes.
